About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- contributing to our assurance plans and carrying out various tests that review our audit risks
- exposed to new ways of thinking through the analysis of our MI
- undertaking effective process mapping
- coaching auditors and leveraging our industry leading audit methodology and tools
- Translate business and audit requirements into data analytics use cases and actionable insights
- Perform data-driven analysis using SQL and Python to support audits, control assessments, and business decisions
- Extract, transform, and validate data from multiple sources, ensuring quality, accuracy, and completeness
- Develop and optimise SQL queries to efficiently analyse large datasets and identify trends, anomalies, and risks
- Produce audit reports, create issues, and contribute to risk-based discussions influencing decision-making
- Manage stakeholder engagement, deliver projects within timelines, and share knowledge across audit engagements
Requirements
What you’ll need- prior experience in risk management and audits
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualisation tools (Power BI/Tableau)
- Experience in data cleaning, transformation, ETL processes, and process mining
- Ability to analyse complex datasets and present clear, business-focused insights
- Solid understanding of data models, structures, and analytics best practices
- Strong knowledge of risk management principles and control monitoring/testing
- Ability to assess, prioritise, and manage data effectively
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
