About the role

  • Manage and develop customers in the FMCG market such as Rewe and Edeka.
  • Expand and develop the sales territory to increase sales, profitability and market share.
  • Acquire new customers and identify market potential.
  • Sell products and concepts, present the product range and contribute to achieving company targets.
  • Expand distribution and shelf space for premium products.
  • Provide professional advice to customers on sales promotion materials within an economical framework.
  • Support trade shows and fairs, professionally representing the company.
  • Actively secure orders and ensure smooth processing.
  • Handle complaints professionally and with customer focus.

Requirements

  • Several years of field sales experience with a branded goods manufacturer or in FMCG retail, ideally in the food or OTC sector.
  • Result-oriented, strong communication skills and confident negotiator.
  • Flexible, persistent and optimistic, able to successfully handle a variety of tasks.
  • Willingness to travel; ideally resident within the sales territory and prepared for occasional overnight stays.
  • Valid driving licence (class B).
  • Committed approach to customer care and enjoyment of selling and building long-term customer relationships.
  • Maintain and expand your network with decision-makers in retail.
