About the role
- Manage and develop customers in the FMCG market such as Rewe and Edeka.
- Expand and develop the sales territory to increase sales, profitability and market share.
- Acquire new customers and identify market potential.
- Sell products and concepts, present the product range and contribute to achieving company targets.
- Expand distribution and shelf space for premium products.
- Provide professional advice to customers on sales promotion materials within an economical framework.
- Support trade shows and fairs, professionally representing the company.
- Actively secure orders and ensure smooth processing.
- Handle complaints professionally and with customer focus.
Requirements
- Several years of field sales experience with a branded goods manufacturer or in FMCG retail, ideally in the food or OTC sector.
- Result-oriented, strong communication skills and confident negotiator.
- Flexible, persistent and optimistic, able to successfully handle a variety of tasks.
- Willingness to travel; ideally resident within the sales territory and prepared for occasional overnight stays.
- Valid driving licence (class B).
- Committed approach to customer care and enjoyment of selling and building long-term customer relationships.
- Maintain and expand your network with decision-makers in retail.
