About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead end to end client onboarding functions, to include, but not limited to account opening, document processing, client and asset qualification, KYC/AML reviews, client communication, client portal set-up and portal user training
  • Partner with Business Development team to support a seamless transition from prospect to active client
  • Manage and resolve client onboarding inquiries and issues, including evening and weekend engagement as needed
  • Coordinate with Operations, Compliance, Risk, Legal, and Technical teams to completed client set-up, permissions and on-chain regarding on-chain activities, (e.g. staking, voting, forking)
  • Maintain expert knowledge of digital asset product and services; to include, custody, trading, lending, and issuance
  • Collaborate with clients through integrated communication platform and the bank’s ticketing tool
  • Partner with Compliance to ensure completion of AML/KYC requirements
  • Establish client governance structures, including authorized signers and administrators.
  • Deliver client training on custody, transfers, trading, and lending services
  • Manage on-boarding handoff to Client Coverage Desk, Trust, and Relationship Management teams
  • Allocate, adjust, and prioritize resources to align with priorities to minimize inefficiencies and prevent bottlenecks
  • Foster a client focused team culture while maintaining strong regulatory compliance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant Institutional Client On-Boarding, Client Service, Trading, Settlement, and/or Bank and Custody experience
  • 2+ years of experience and working knowledge of digital assets, blockchain, and on-chain activities, e.g. staking, forking, and voting
  • Understanding of institutional onboarding process including AML/KYC and financial market requirements
  • Proven ability to design and implement new operating procedures that improve business performance and efficiency
  • Experience with multiple communication channels and integrated technical systems for voice, video conference, chat, and other online mediums
  • Accomplished in delivering highly automated onboarding processes that leverage technology to meet regulatory requirements in a scalable and client friendly manner
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, client deadline driven environment
  • BS/BA in Business, Computer Science or related field
  • Superior verbal, written, and communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Team oriented and ability to networking with others and partnering with peers
  • Assertive, self-motivated and self-directed, possess high-level of initiative
