About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work with Clearinghouse stakeholders to expand usage of Clearinghouse data
  • Contribute to research on student enrollment, movement, and outcomes
  • Collaborate with the Research Center team using Clearinghouse data for quantitative research
  • Support development of data reports and publications
  • Assist in requirements gathering and client relationship management
  • Manage multiple research projects/assignments simultaneously
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Build trust with stakeholders by demonstrating consistency between words and actions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Data Science, Statistics, Social Sciences or any related field
  • 2 years of direct and relevant data analysis experience
  • Experience and proficiency with statistical and data management programming in R
  • Experience with large databases, data warehouse, and data operations
  • Familiarity with Tableau or other data visualization software (or willingness to learn)
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and analytical skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively on a team
  • Must live within a commutable distance to Herndon, VA or in one of the Clearinghouse's approved states
