About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support fundraising growth, community engagement, and peer-to-peer fundraising initiatives across the CA, NV, OR, WA market
  • Develop and steward corporate and community partnerships, supporting peer-to-peer fundraising growth
  • Engage volunteers and community leaders, driving revenue through fundraising events, sponsorships, and donor engagement
  • Serve as a bridge between fundraising strategy and operational execution, ensuring successful delivery of initiatives
  • Recruit, engage, and support Kidney Walk participants, teams, volunteer leaders, committee members, and fundraising champions
  • Coordinate sponsor fulfillment and stewardship activities to ensure exceptional partner experience
  • Maintain accurate donor, sponsor, participant, and fundraising records and support development reporting
  • Assist with onsite event execution, budget tracking, and reporting related to fundraising initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree preferred and 2+ years of experience in non-profit fundraising experience preferred
  • Proven success in fundraising, non-profit leadership, and event management
  • Demonstrated track record in account management and building corporate partnerships that exceed revenue targets
  • Knowledge of product marketing/sales concepts
  • Outcome-driven mindset with ability to respond to changing circumstances and priorities
  • Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in computer-based information systems
  • Ability to work some evenings and weekends
  • Ability to travel throughout Southern California and the market
