About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure day-to-day execution of the Photo Camp program
Responsible for production and logistics coordination for Photo Camps worldwide
Supports the implementation of the program’s strategy by managing event and travel planning, budgets, contracts, logistics related to the program’s operations
Provide on-the-ground logistics support and event production during selected National Geographic Photo Camps
Serve as the NGS contact between the students, community liaisons, and partners for each Photo Camp.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in operations management, communications, or related field
With education and experience in the areas of event production or logistics management
5+ years working in a production or logistics environment
Proven track record of coordinating multiple initiatives simultaneously
Experience designing presentations, working with photographic and video assets, and coordinating multifaceted activities is a plus
Strong writing and communication skills
Strong project management skills
Experience keeping track of multiple projects, details and timelines
Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills; collaborative team player
Driven by curiosity, strong ability to problem-solve with high critical thinking skills
Self-motivated and inquisitive
High degree of proficiency in using Microsoft Office, Airtable, and Keynote applications
Strong event production and organizational skills
