About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert in Ivalua for Procurement & Property
  • Oversee Ivalua upgrades and patches and ensure processes are maintained
  • Collaborate with support teams to manage and resolve system issues and amendments
  • Work with key stakeholders, including the P2P team, to ensure seamless cross-system activity
  • Provide first-line technical and user support for the e-procurement system
  • Manage and coordinate second-line technical support engagement
  • Support development of new eProcurement solutions, including AI bots
  • Drive procurement compliance and embed the governance framework
  • Support internal and external audits and lead attestation checks
  • Maintain the Centre of Excellence Risk Register and coordinate mitigation actions
  • Execute assigned RACM control testing and follow up on outcomes
  • Manage the Conflict-of-Interest process and develop improved automation
  • Analyse procurement performance data and recommend process improvements to the Head of Procurement Centre of Excellence
  • Support performance improvement projects and implementation of new processes
  • Coordinate engagement with procurement software providers including D&B, Moodys and Achilles
  • Support updates to procurement policies, Standard Operating Procedures and Terms of Reference
  • Ensure compliance with PA23, UCR, Competition Law, Fraud & Bribery, Modern Slavery, Conflict Minerals and Real Living Wage requirements
  • Deliver best-practice procurement process training to stakeholders across NESO

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Expert knowledge of end-to-end procurement processes and operating models
  • Experience with e-procurement systems such as Ivalua, SAP, S4Hana, Coupa or Oracle
  • Experience within Public Sector Procurement is desirable
  • Strong interest in emerging technologies, particularly AI, and their application in procurement
  • Understanding of best-practice procurement policies, processes and systems
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Commercial awareness and ability to build a strong business case for change
  • Good communication and project management skills
  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK by the start of employment
  • Visa sponsorship may not be available and will be considered in line with business requirements
