About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Apply business analysis techniques to understand business needs, user requirements, and relationships between people, processes, systems, and data
  • Develop user and customer journeys and assess current and future business capabilities
  • Translate business needs into requirements, artefacts, and models
  • Support testing, change activities, and realization of measurable business benefits
  • Build stakeholder relationships and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
  • Facilitate workshops and research activities
  • Advise on business analysis approaches and challenge priorities and scope
  • Keep Delivery Managers informed of progress, risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Drive digital transformation and identify opportunities to improve business performance

  • Work with business change and delivery teams to embed change and minimize risks
  • Develop business analysis standards, frameworks, and best practices
  • Coach, mentor, and potentially line-manage colleagues

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong experience in business analysis using a wide range of tools, techniques, and methods to elicit and communicate requirements
  • Experience with user-centric and holistic business analysis approaches
  • Wide experience of applications delivery across discovery, development, testing, business change, and deployment
  • Excellent written, digital, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong stakeholder engagement background focused on business outcomes and value
  • Proactive and collaborative approach, with leadership experience
  • Ability to build and nurture relationships across multiple teams
  • Adaptability in changing environments and digital transformation
  • Experience with BA tools and techniques including problem identification, root cause analysis, stakeholder engagement, journey mapping, and solution evaluation
  • Relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent digital, data, and technology experience within the industry
  • Relevant industry knowledge or understanding of critical operational environments within a regulated environment
  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK by the start of employment
  • Ideal candidates should meet criteria to apply for and maintain National Security Vetting clearance
