About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Direct and lead the product team to align the DSI and product roadmap with development activities
  • Oversee the DSI product to ensure delivery of value for the energy sector and ongoing user satisfaction
  • Lead scoping, definition, and prioritisation of user needs and detailed DSI requirements
  • Engage internal and external stakeholders to gather insights, pain points, and expectations
  • Translate DSI requirements into feature development initiatives
  • Own and manage the product roadmap and supporting artefacts, including traceability matrices
  • Provide product management oversight and quality assurance of delivery partners’ outputs
  • Own the Trust Framework and manage significant revisions, dispute negotiations, and resolution agreements
  • Review, analyse, and prioritise the issue backlog
  • Identify dependencies between features with the DSI Architecture Manager and other architecture roles
  • Oversee traceability between requirements, solution architecture, implementation, use cases, data products, and components

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Right to work in the UK by the start of employment
  • Passion for delivering user-centred digital products
  • Deep understanding of the energy sector and its data domains
  • Confidence leading cross-functional teams and industry stakeholder engagement
  • Strong experience developing and managing a product roadmap to deliver value to stakeholders
  • Experience leading oversight and assurance of third-party delivery partners
  • Experience of product ownership, backlog management, and requirements development
  • Experience translating requirements into prioritised features and managing trade-offs based on value, risk, and effort
