About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage key student opportunities and scholar engagement activities, including the NEON Alumni Board, Student Advisory Board, and scholarship program nominations.
  • Partner with the Director of College Access to support the College Access Mentors initiative in SY26-27. This includes managing TF Mentors, supporting the development of content and resources for the College Knowledge course, monitoring program implementation, and evaluating key success metrics.
  • Assist with the logistical coordination of the Carnegie Merit Scholars Program, virtual and in-person admissions events, and Honor Society operations.
  • Provide students with transcript access support upon course completion.
  • Work collaboratively with our Communications team to highlight student opportunities and success stories.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of professional experience required, with a strong preference for a background in student affairs, student development, or student-facing program management.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing program logistics and utilizing data/student feedback to monitor implementation and evaluate success metrics.
  • Excellent organizational skills, adept at managing multiple tasks, student cohorts, and operational priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for building community, fostering student engagement, and supporting diverse student populations.
  • Comfortable proactively identifying solutions and suggesting strategic program improvements.
  • Capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with posting and analytics tracking on social media platforms, primarily Instagram and LinkedIn, is preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce and/or Canvas is preferred.
  • A deep, personal commitment to advancing educational equity and supporting students from underserved backgrounds.
  • Passion for expanding opportunities and addressing the systemic challenges that exist in Title I schools.
