About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Create and oversee customized asset management strategies for multi-family LIHTC and HUD communities
- Maximize total return for each assigned asset through analysis of property efficiencies and identifying opportunities for improved performance
- Work closely with property managers and Regional Managers to provide direction for oversight of business plans, budgets, forecasts, leases, analysis and approvals
- Conduct market studies of competing properties to determine market competitive rents
- Manage cash flow, distribution analysis and investment projections
- Develop and distribute periodic asset management reports to senior management, investors, consultants and other partners
- Position each asset for optimal financial performance through budgeting and monitoring financial performance
Requirements
What you’ll need- BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate or related field with strong record of academic achievement
- MBA or CPA preferred
- Experience in property management/leasing/operations and/or real estate asset management
- Proficiency with modeling investments in Excel
- Understanding of Partnership Agreements and Low Income Housing Tax Credits
- Understanding of accounting and financial modeling
- Solid analytical and organizational skills
- Highly-developed verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proactive thinking with detail-oriented and creative problem solving approach.
