About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Performing month end close and year-end audits for assigned properties.
Following a system of internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial reporting.
Recording fixed assets, analyzing invoices, and determining capitalization vs. expense.
Daily interactions with manager, director, and other departments to assist with questions and resolve issues.
Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for external parties by their respective due dates.
Mentoring and helping with training of staff accountants and new hires.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
3-5 years of experience performing the job responsibilities.
Good communication, comprehension, computer and interpersonal skills.
Ability to speak, read, write and understand English.
Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office Suite.
