About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Visit people in their homes to conduct research interviews on topics including health, housing and transport
  • Use a tablet or laptop to guide conversations and capture people’s daily-life experiences
  • Conduct door-to-door fieldwork in the local community
  • Manage situations where residents do not answer or decline to participate
  • Complete the application, video interview, final interview with role play, offer, background checks and onboarding process

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Valid UK driving licence and sole use of a car
  • Class 1 Business insurance
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Willingness to complete a DBS check
  • Reliable home broadband
  • Laptop or tablet with camera
  • Comfortable using basic technology
  • At least 18 hours available per week
  • Flexibility for weekdays, evenings and weekends
  • Strong verbal and written English
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to talk to people
  • Friendly and professional manner
  • Resilient and confident
  • Self-motivated and independent
  • Good time management and prioritisation skills
  • Research experience is not required
