About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Visit people in their homes to carry out research interviews on topics including health, housing and transport
- Use a tablet or laptop to guide conversations and capture real experiences of daily life in Britain
- Work in the local community, including door-to-door visits
- Handle situations where residents do not answer or decline to participate
- Complete administrative tasks associated with interviews and projects
- Complete the application, video interview, final role-play interview and background-check process
Requirements
What you’ll need- Valid UK driving licence and sole use of a car
- Class 1 Business insurance
- Right to work in the UK
- Willingness to complete a DBS check
- Reliable home broadband
- Laptop or tablet with camera
- Comfortable using basic technology
- At least 18 hours available per week
- Flexibility for weekdays, evenings and weekends
- Strong verbal and written English
- Good at talking to people
- Friendly and professional
- Resilient and confident
- Self-motivated and independent
- Good time management and prioritisation skills
- Experience in retail, hospitality, administration, driving, sales or another customer-facing role is suitable; research experience is not required
Benefits
Comp & perks- £20-£30 per interview (typically)
- Admin fees and holiday pay (12.1%)
- Travel time at £4.68/hour for travel to the working area (most projects)
- Mileage at 36p per mile (up to 10,000 miles)
- £250 bonus after launch, plus £250 more at two months and four months
- Experienced interviewers can earn more
- Flexible, part-time hours
