About the role

  • Own and evolve our corporate and site-level financial models, ensuring they reflect current business realities and strategic goals.
  • Drive the annual budgeting and long-range planning processes, aligning financial forecasts with company objectives.
  • Regularly update models with actuals and scenario analyses to support agile decision-making.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses into business performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for operational improvement.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate new initiatives, pricing strategies, and investment opportunities.
  • Apply healthcare-specific knowledge to assess payer mix, reimbursement trends, patient volumes, and regulatory impacts.
  • Oversee the preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting packages for executive leadership and the Board of Directors.
  • Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders at all levels.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Controller to ensure accurate and timely monthly closes.
  • Lead a team that analyzes variances between actuals and budget, providing explanations and recommending corrective actions.
  • Manage and mentor the FP&A team, fostering a culture of analytical rigor and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement scalable FP&A processes, tools, and systems to support a high-growth environment.

Requirements

  • 6–10 years of progressive experience in FP&A, investment banking, consulting, or corporate finance.
  • 5+ years of management experience
  • MBA or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
  • 3+ years of experience in the healthcare industry strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of building and managing complex financial models in Excel (and a genuine enthusiasm for it).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hypothesis-driven mindset.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to distill complex data into executive-level insights.
  • Experience working in high-growth, fast-paced environments; startup experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles and financial close processes.
  • Experience with financial systems (e.g., NetSuite) is a plus.
  • Programming experience (especially in Python) is a bonus, particularly for automation or advanced analytics.
  • Comfortable building processes from the ground up and thriving in ambiguity.
