About the role
- Responsible for the design, logical/physical data modeling, stored procedure/trigger development
- Develop procedures for automating data feeds and data transformation processes
- Oversee the development and maintenance of database objects
- Create and maintain database documentation
- Develop and maintain stored procedures and views to deliver data for reporting needs
- Monitor and maintain the security of databases
- Provide db/log backup/recovery and replication
- Responsible for job scheduling for automating data transfer
Requirements
- 6+ years’ experience in database development and administration
- 4+ years demonstrated proficiency as Microsoft SQL Server DBA
- Epic Clarity Administration certification preferred
- MCSA Certification version 2012 or newer required
- Advanced SQL programming skills preferred
- Preferred experience in front-end development tools such as Access and Visual Basic
- Knowledge of and experience in the Health Care industry a plus
- Experience developing and maintaining data feeds using DTS/SSIS packages
- Experience with Intersystem Cache DBMS preferred
- Experience with M or MUMPS a plus
- Experience with NetApp (SnapManager for SQL, etc) a preferred
