About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assist with coordination and execution of audits
Conduct quality checks on patient coordination activities, specimen documentation, and communication logs, including the MPX platform
Support onsite visit preparations and shadow staff to ensure protocol adherence and identify process improvements
Provide daily support to the Phlebotomy Solutions team
Supervise, mentor, and develop phlebotomists across designated locations
Recruit, onboard, and train new in-office phlebotomists
Ensure compliance with specimen handling protocols and EMR documentation
Proactively mitigate issues affecting operational performance
Oversee ordering and tracking of supplies
Partner with Field Sales, Clinical Operations, and Compliance to resolve issues and ensure cohesive patient support
Assist with team meetings, share updates, disseminate best practices, and reinforce Natera’s standards

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or GED required
Minimum 5 years of phlebotomy experience required
Phlebotomy Certificate required as per state regulations
Supervisory or team-lead experience in a clinical or laboratory operations setting strongly preferred
Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities
High proficiency in problem-solving, conflict resolution, and time management
Familiarity with clinical compliance standards
Ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to travel up to 50% for audits, site visits, and team support
Must follow clinical safety standards and wear appropriate attire, including scrubs, when on-site
