About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist with coordination and execution of audits
- Conduct quality checks on patient coordination activities, specimen documentation, and communication logs, including the MPX platform
- Support onsite visit preparations and shadow staff to ensure protocol adherence and identify process improvements
- Provide daily support to the Phlebotomy Solutions team
- Supervise, mentor, and develop phlebotomists across designated locations
- Recruit, onboard, and train new in-office phlebotomists
- Ensure compliance with specimen handling protocols and EMR documentation
- Proactively mitigate issues affecting operational performance
- Oversee ordering and tracking of supplies
- Partner with Field Sales, Clinical Operations, and Compliance to resolve issues and ensure cohesive patient support
- Assist with team meetings, share updates, disseminate best practices, and reinforce Natera’s standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 5 years of phlebotomy experience required
- Phlebotomy Certificate required as per state regulations
- Supervisory or team-lead experience in a clinical or laboratory operations setting strongly preferred
- Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities
- High proficiency in problem-solving, conflict resolution, and time management
- Familiarity with clinical compliance standards
- Ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 50% for audits, site visits, and team support
- Must follow clinical safety standards and wear appropriate attire, including scrubs, when on-site
