About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist with coordination and execution of audits
  • Conduct quality checks on patient coordination activities, specimen documentation, and communication logs, including the MPX platform
  • Support onsite visit preparations and shadow staff to ensure protocol adherence and identify process improvements
  • Provide daily support to the Phlebotomy Solutions team
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop phlebotomists across designated locations
  • Recruit, onboard, and train new in-office phlebotomists
  • Ensure compliance with specimen handling protocols and EMR documentation
  • Proactively mitigate issues affecting operational performance
  • Oversee ordering and tracking of supplies
  • Partner with Field Sales, Clinical Operations, and Compliance to resolve issues and ensure cohesive patient support
  • Assist with team meetings, share updates, disseminate best practices, and reinforce Natera’s standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 5 years of phlebotomy experience required
  • Phlebotomy Certificate required as per state regulations
  • Supervisory or team-lead experience in a clinical or laboratory operations setting strongly preferred
  • Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities
  • High proficiency in problem-solving, conflict resolution, and time management
  • Familiarity with clinical compliance standards
  • Ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel up to 50% for audits, site visits, and team support
  • Must follow clinical safety standards and wear appropriate attire, including scrubs, when on-site
