About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide scientific and/or clinical presentations on Natera’s Organ Health division focused on genetics of Chronic Kidney Disease, supporting Renasight and Prospera, to general nephrology providers
- Respond to customer requests for information about marketed and developing products
- Serve as a medical and scientific resource for Sales and Marketing teams
- Develop, maintain, and manage interactions with transplant and genetics Key Opinion Leaders and relevant healthcare professionals
- Review results and provide clinical support to ordering clinicians and their teams for individual samples or aggregate results
- Develop educational materials for healthcare providers and patients
- Handle protected health information in paper and electronic form using various technologies
- Complete HIPAA/PHI privacy, General Policies and Procedure Compliance, and security training within the first 30 days
- Maintain current status on Natera training requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Support the field sales team with 50–75% travel
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master's degree and board certification required
- Relevant clinical sciences knowledge in nephrology preferred
- Prior MSL experience preferred
- Living within 30 minutes of an airport and within the territory preferred
- Outgoing and confident demeanor
- Independent thinker and persuasive communicator
- Experience establishing strong, collaborative relationships with Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, R&D, and external customers
- Knowledge of molecular biology, immunology, and genetics helpful
- Ability to work with protected health information and complete required privacy, compliance, and security training
- Must pass a post-offer criminal background check
- Ability to perform frequent sitting, standing, and walking; use a computer daily; and stand for extended periods when required
- Ability to travel 50–75%
