About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist with the team's day-to-day operations and ensuring excellence in patient care coordination, phlebotomy services, and administrative operations.
- Support daily team management, operational efficiency, and compliance.
- Support seamless collaboration between field teams, patients, and operational departments.
- Conduct regular quality checks on patient coordination activities, specimen documentation, and communication logs.
- Provide daily support to the Phlebotomy Solutions team.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of phlebotomists across designated locations.
- Ensure all team members maintain compliance with specimen handling protocols and EMR documentation.
- Proactively mitigate issues that could impact operational performance.
- Oversee supply chain needs, including ordering and tracking supplies.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of phlebotomy experience is a must.
- A supervisory or team-lead role within a clinical or laboratory operations setting is strongly preferred.
- Certifications: Phlebotomy Certificate required as per state regulations.
