About the role
- Oversee product development and go-to-market strategy for a new innovative product.
- Lead the product development and commercialization strategy for a revolutionary new product area.
- Oversee all aspects of the new product, including defining requirements for assays, lab operations, data analysis, and reporting.
- Lead a cross-functional product team to drive the product development lifecycle from concept to launch.
- Develop and implement forward-thinking product strategies that promote growth, innovation, and competitive differentiation in the high-risk pregnancy market.
- Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Sales Training teams to deliver product expertise and support key launch initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and collaborators to drive new product adoption and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with R&D, Lab Operations, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, and Customer Support to ensure cohesive product development and execution.
- Provide product training and ongoing support to internal teams to enhance product knowledge and execution.
- Proactively manage and monitor development and launch milestones, ensuring swift communication and execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related fields; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in product management, product marketing, or related roles, with a strong focus on healthcare or life sciences.
- Proven track record in managing products through their entire lifecycle, especially during the development and launch phases.
- Deep understanding of high-risk pregnancy, maternal-fetal medicine, and/or diagnostic testing markets.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to think strategically and act tactically in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a passion for innovation and product excellence.
