About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own end-to-end delivery of Colibri Digital and partner events with AWS, Microsoft, and Databricks, including webinars, roundtables, conferences, and sponsorships.
  • Source venues, manage logistics and budgets, and host events on site.
  • Build and execute invitation campaigns, partner co-marketing activity, and targeted prospect lists to drive registrations and maximise show-up rates.
  • Run post-event follow-up cadences, book meetings, and collaborate with sales to convert attendees into pipeline.
  • Build CRM segmentation, campaigns, and nurture flows while maintaining accurate data.
  • Track attendance, conversion, and event-sourced pipeline; feed insights into event strategy and budget allocation.
  • Attend and host events primarily in central London, travel regularly across the UK, and occasionally travel internationally for partner events.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven track record planning, organising and hosting events – conferences, roadshows, exhibitions or client hospitality.
  • Experience driving attendance and registrations for in-person and virtual events, using invitation and follow-up campaigns.
  • Broad event and client-facing experience; a background outside B2B technology is welcomed – hospitality, professional services or agency experience is equally relevant.
  • Experience working closely with sales or SDR functions to convert leads into booked meetings.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple events and supplier relationships simultaneously.
  • Confident and personable, comfortable hosting and engaging senior stakeholders face to face.
  • Relentless follow-up discipline and a conversion-focused, closer mindset.
  • Commercially minded, understanding events as a pipeline-generation activity rather than delivery for its own sake.
  • Experience using a CRM (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot) for campaign management, segmentation and data hygiene is nice to have.
  • Experience operating within a PE-backed, high-growth or fast-changing business is nice to have.
