About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define, improve and standardize the requirements-gathering process.
- Shape product vision and backlogs by working closely with our clients' Product Owners.
- Write clear, testable user stories and acceptance criteria in collaboration with internal and external technical stakeholders (Solution Architects, Software Engineers, QA).
- Facilitate discovery workshops with technical and non-technical stakeholders to advance product development and identify new opportunities.
- Contribute to winning new contracts by engaging with prospective clients during pre-sales activities.
- Support and mentor less-experienced team members.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Prior experience as a client-facing Business Analyst on projects of various sizes.
- Ability to challenge assumptions and collaborate with client Product Owners to define a PoC/MVP for a product.
- Experience coaching Product Owners, including defining product canvases, building roadmaps, and setting product and sprint goals.
- Ability to structure backlogs effectively to define a product using epics and features, aligning business needs with technical architecture.
- Ability to write clear, testable user stories using Gherkin acceptance criteria.
- Ability to facilitate Stand-ups, Retrospectives, Showcases (Demonstrations), Planning Sessions, Iteration Planning, Project Discovery sessions, and Backlog Refinement sessions.
- Expert understanding of the Scrum framework.
- Strong experience working in Agile teams to validate and design system/product architectures based on user requirements and to specify them as user stories.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Resilience, proactivity, and a strong delivery focus.
- Excellent modeling skills across data, application, and business process domains using standard conventions (e.g., UML, BPMN).
- Ability to quickly learn and take ownership of complex functional domains.
