About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Shape Nasdaq’s Index Platform by leading the onboarding, standardizing, and transforming vendor and internal data
- Define business requirements and data methodologies for global indexes
- Lead ideation sessions for platform features and enhancements
- Own the platform roadmap and delivery lifecycle from ideation to production
- Act as a primary point of contact for internal stakeholders
- Define and analyze key metrics to measure product performance
- Drive continuous improvement through data-driven insights
- Collaborate across Nasdaq groups for best practices and data sharing
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Economics, Applied Mathematics, or similar
- 12 years experience at either an index provider, asset management or bank derivatives desk
- Extensive domain knowledge of global financial data
- Strong understanding of data management concepts, data pipelines, and data architecture principles
- Experience using Databricks or similar platforms
- Proven track record of successfully managing and launching platforms or data products
- Strong analytics and problem-solving skills
- Experience with agile methodology and product management
- Proficient with tools like JIRA and Confluence
- Strong business acumen
