About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define and lead the enterprise-wide People M&A program, ensuring consistency, visibility, and alignment across all transactions throughout the deal lifecycle—from due diligence to integration
  • Establish governance frameworks, operating standards, and execution discipline across People workstreams, enabling timely, well-informed decision-making at the executive level
  • Lead People-related diligence strategy and synthesize insights into executive summaries that inform deal structure, valuation, and integration planning
  • Design and operationalize scalable HR integration models across Talent, Total Rewards, HR Operations, Employee Relations, and Communications, ensuring clear ownership and decision rights
  • Serve as the strategic integrator across People@Nasdaq, Corporate Development, Legal, Finance, Communications, and business leadership to align priorities and manage interdependencies
  • Drive Day 1 readiness and change orchestration, partnering with Communications to shape messaging strategy and ensure seamless transitions from deal execution to steady-state operations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Extensive leadership experience in HR transformation, M&A integration, management consulting, or enterprise program leadership in global, complex environments
  • Demonstrated success leading high-stakes initiatives with significant executive visibility and measurable business impact
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to serve as a senior advisor and influence stakeholders across functions and geographies
  • Exceptional strategic judgment and ability to connect People considerations to deal outcomes, valuation, and business strategy
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to distill complexity into clear executive narratives and drive timely decisions
  • Proven ability to establish governance models, operating cadences, and execution frameworks in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
  • Experience in capital markets, fintech, or highly regulated industries undergoing transformation (preferred)
  • Familiarity with corporate development processes and cross-border M&A execution (preferred)
