About the role

  • Design and build world-class UI for the next phase of our trading platform, enabling our team to do their best work.
  • Ensure resilience and stability through quality code reviews, unit, regression and user acceptance testing.
  • Be an integral contributor to a lean agile development team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Take full ownership of multiple components including design, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Operate independently and in unison with a team to deliver code updates.
  • Contribute creative ideas and novel approaches to product and engineering challenges.
  • Bring clarity and structure to ambiguous problems, identifying key requirements and proposing actionable solutions.
  • Keep on top of the latest technologies and trends in frontend and UI development.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience in Front-end development, ideally using React, Angular or VueJS.
  • Demonstrated experience in creating visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces, ideally for complex financial applications.
  • UX Design Skills with experience in tooling such as InVision, Figma, Balsamiq.
  • Have built trading and/or financial applications in the past (through experience, hobby or project work).
  • Bonus if you have experience with and/or interest in learning Rust.
  • Bonus if you have Terraform or API experience, or trading experience.
  • Ability to work in an agile, lean development team and participate in code reviews, testing, and maintenance.
