Sheet Metal Fabricator – Architectural
NANA Construction, LLCSheet Metal Fabricator tasked with fabricating and installing metal products in Alaska. Requires working in various outdoor conditions and operating fabrication machinery safely.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal products trim
- Install cladding/paneling
- Use sealants to ensure weather proof applications
- Develops plan and sequence of operations
- Installs insulated and non insulated wall panels and trim packages
- Locates and marks bending and cutting lines onto work
- Sets up and operates fabricating machines, such as brakes, rolls, shears, and drill presses
- Ability to work with power tools and follow site guidelines regarding safety
- Designs and constructs templates
- Verifies conformance of projects to specifications
- Maintains material and inventory
- Assemble and fit parts using power and hand tools
- Frequently operate on scaffolding and out of aerial lifts
- Immediately report all Incidents/Accidents, no matter how small, to their Supervisor
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or GED equivalent or ten (10) years related experience will be considered
- Minimum two (2) years directly related fabrication experience
- Alaska Painters Certification preferred
- Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years to be eligible under company vehicle insurance policy preferred
