Field Engineer
NANA Construction, LLCField Engineer assisting Project Manager with project planning and execution at Red Dog Mine in Alaska. Responsible for technical activities, project schedules, and client communications.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist the Project Manager in planning and execution of project plans at site.
- Coordination of all technical activities on assigned project.
- Manage project engineering schedules and forecasts.
- Coordination and checking engineering deliverables.
- Planning, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating the technical and management aspects of projects.
- Perform material take offs and labor estimates.
- Extensive regular contact with assigned project clients.
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals.
- Budget monitoring and trend tracking.
- Participate in client/contractor meetings and resolving client/engineering and management project issues.
- Generate change order, redlines and RFI’s.
- Ensure effective engineering and client communications.
- Prepare written estimate narratives and bid clarifications.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or GED equivalent or ten (10) years related experience will be considered.
- Minimum five (5) years experience in mechanical and piping systems.
- Minimum five (5) years of related Engineering industry experience.
- Previous experience with fabricating and installing pipelines preferred
- Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years to be eligible under company vehicle insurance policy.
