About the role

  • Join a team working on a global eCommerce platform for a leading health & beauty retailer
  • Lead and mentor other team members
  • Design frontend architecture
  • Perform code reviews and ensure best practices across the team
  • Own features end-to-end: from design → development → testing → deployment
  • Collaborate directly with client stakeholders (business & technical)
  • Participate in Scrum ceremonies and drive delivery
  • Contribute hands-on to coding, unit testing, and integration testing
  • Validate proof of concepts and propose optimal solutions
  • Troubleshoot complex issues and support the team
  • Ensure alignment with business requirements and project goals
  • Contribute across the full product lifecycle

Requirements

  • 5-8+ years of experience in software development
  • Strong experience with Angular (Spartacus is a big plus)
  • Advanced knowledge of JavaScript (ES6/ES7/ES8)
  • Solid experience with Web Components & State Management
  • Hands-on experience with Node.js and Webpack
  • Strong expertise in SCSS / CSS preprocessors
  • Proven experience in frontend architecture and design
  • Experience in leading and mentoring development teams
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
  • Nice-to-have: Experience in eCommerce platforms (SAP Commerce Cloud / similar)
  • Understanding of functional programming concepts
  • Experience in enterprise/global projects
  • Exposure to frontend performance optimization
