About the role
- Understanding functional requirements thoroughly and analysing the client’s needs in the context of the project
- Envisioning the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements, and being able to define technologies, patterns, and frameworks to realize it.
- Determining and implementing design methodologies and tool sets
- Enabling application development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities.
- Being able to lead/support UAT and production roll outs.
- Creating, understanding, and validating WBS and estimated effort for given module/task, and being able to justify it.
- Addressing issues promptly, responding positively to setbacks and challenges with a mindset of continuous improvement
- Giving constructive feedback to the team members and setting clear expectations.
- Helping the team in troubleshooting and resolving of complex bugs
- Coming up with solutions to any issue that is raised during code/design review and being able to justify the decision taken.
- Carrying out POCs to make sure that suggested design/technologies meet the requirements.
Requirements
- Total experience: 11+ years
- Should have 5+ years experience in supplier enablement, vendor management, procurement transformation, or VMS/ERP implementation.
- Should have experience supporting system rollouts or large-scale change initiatives across multiple geographies.
- Should have strong understanding of contingent workforce or services procurement processes.
- Should have hands on experience working with VMS platforms (e.g., Fieldglass, Beeline, SAP, Coupa, Ariba, etc.).
- Should have proven ability to manage supplier onboarding, compliance validation, and integration activities.
- Should have experience working with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and cross-functional global teams.
- Should have strong project management skills with the ability to manage timelines, risks, and dependencies.
- Should be able to translate complex system and process changes into clear, supplier-friendly messaging
- Should be able to lead supplier onboarding and enablement across large, diverse vendor populations
- Should be able to design and execute wave-based rollout plans with strong governance and tracking.
- Should be able to driving adoption of new technology platforms (e.g., VMS, ERP, procurement tools)
- Should be able to Manage multiple stakeholders across HR, Procurement, IT, and external partners.
- Should be able to Identify friction points in supplier processes and proactively resolving them.
- Should be able to facilitate workshops, training sessions, and readiness reviews with confidence.
- Should be able to use data and KPIs to monitor onboarding progress and escalate risks early.
- Should be able to balancing structure and flexibility in a fast-paced transformation environment.
- Should be able to communicate with clarity, credibility, and empathy especially when change is involve.
- Should have analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive informed decisions.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience creating training and enablement materials.
