About the role
- Design and develop SAP AI-powered extensions and automation solutions
- Integrate LLMs, vector search, and AI workflows into SAP landscapes
- Define scalable architecture, coding standards, and best practices
- Lead POCs to production deployments with measurable KPIs
- Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and performance optimization
- Collaborate with functional and business stakeholders to translate requirements
- Mentor developers and resolve complex technical challenges
- Drive DevOps, CI/CD strategy, and AI governance standards
Requirements
- 8+ years of SAP technical development experience
- Strong hands-on expertise in SAP ABAP (enhancements, reports, interfaces, performance tuning)
- Experience with RAP, CDS Views, OData, and SAP Fiori/UI5
- Hands-on experience with SAP BTP extensions and integration patterns
- Experience in AI-enabled application development (LLMs, agentic workflows, automation)
- Knowledge of API design, microservices, event-driven architecture, and OOP principles
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and cloud-native deployments
- Proven ability to lead end-to-end SAP AI solution architecture and production rollouts
- Strong understanding of security, governance, scalability, and enterprise standards
- Excellent stakeholder communication and team leadership skills
