About the role
- Lead the strategy for Nabu Casa's Cloud and Customer Support products, defining their future and aligning with the open-source community.
- Identify and execute product strategy from ideation to delivery with engineers, program managers, and leadership at Nabu Casa and the Open Home Foundation.
- Participate in day-to-day product development operations to ensure completion of work.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure delivery and with the Open Home Foundation to ensure alignment and integration.
- Help shape the product roadmap and involve the worldwide community in discovery and delivery.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience driving and shaping strategy and vision for a product, delivering value to users as a product manager.
- Experience in delivering products in the B2C space.
- Meaningful experience with complete autonomy, and iterative development/releasing.
- Proficiency in working in multi-disciplinary teams (UX designers, researchers, marketing, and engineers).
- Proficiency in communication, being able to adapt the message to the audience.
- Comfort with public speaking during workshops, meetups, livestreams, etc.
- Professional Fluency in English: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- European Residency: You must be currently based and eligible to work within Europe.
- Nice to have: A passion for smart homes and automation; Experience as a Home Assistant user; Curiosity and passion for learning.
