  • Senior Product Engineer on the Payday team (Enterprise features) will own features end-to-end and work across the stack, collaborating with Product and Design to translate requirements into robust, scalable solutions.
  • What we've shipped: Centralised insights dashboard; Enhanced RBAC; Git-backed Environments.
  • What you'll bring: 5+ years of experience; Node.js and TS/JS; Vue.js or similar; robust APIs; SQL; end-to-end shipping; modern testing; collaboration; curiosity; willingness to learn.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, primarily focused on building web applications or SaaS products.
  • Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript/JavaScript.
  • Experience working with Vue.js or other modern frontend frameworks (e.g. React, Angular).
  • Experience in designing, building, and consuming robust APIs (e.g. RESTful, GraphQL).
  • Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL) and SQL.
  • Experience shipping features end-to-end in a product-driven environment, demonstrating ownership from concept to deployment.
  • Experience with modern testing practices and frameworks (e.g. Jest, Vitest, Cypress).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of working effectively in cross-functional teams
  • You’re curious and you love learning new things.
  • You value feedback, believe in continuous learning, and enjoy working with others to create a positive team environment. Nice to have / bonus points:
  • Experience developing features specifically for enterprise software (e.g. Role-Based Access Control, Single Sign-On).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience contributing to or working with open-source projects.
  • Familiarity with workflow automation concepts or platforms.
