About the role

  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand project goals, target audience, and brand voice. Ensuring every piece of copy aligns with the project’s vision and strategy.
  • Develop content outlines in Figma, establishing a clear narrative and structure for each web page to guide the design process.
  • Write clear, engaging, and SEO-optimized website copy for a variety of industries, ensuring content aligns with the overall website strategy.
  • Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure content is effectively integrated into the design, enhancing both functionality and aesthetics.
  • Conduct research and interviews to gain a deep understanding of each client’s brand, target audience, and product/service offering, gathering the insights needed to create accurate, engaging, and persuasive copy.
  • Revise, edit, and proofread copy based on feedback from clients and internal team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging tools and technologies in digital content creation.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Website Copywriter, with a portfolio showcasing a range of website projects (Home, About, Product/Service, and Landing Pages).
  • Demonstrated ability to write for digital audiences, with experience working directly with clients or customers to understand objectives and deliver impactful messaging.
  • Experience developing brand messaging and contributing to overall brand strategy.
  • Strong understanding of content-first design and UX principles, with the ability to create copy that enhances usability, engagement, and overall user experience.
  • Confidence adapting to a variety of brand voices across diverse industries.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices, including keyword integration and optimization.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail, grammar, and style.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, particularly when partnering with designers and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong time management, organisation, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Nice-to-Haves
  • Knowledge of GEO/AEO best practices, including keyword integration and optimization techniques for digital platforms.
  • SaaS, AI, and healthcare copywriting experience.
  • Ability to develop content outlines in Figma, establishing a clear narrative and structure for each web page to guide the design process.
  • Familiarity working in Slack and Google Workspace, collaborating frequently with internal team members and clients.
  • Advertising or SEO writing experience.
  • Passion for Webflow
