Accountant

• Processing of ongoing financial accounting, including general ledger, accounts receivable and accounts payable accounting, as well as the associated cost accounting
• Coding and posting of incoming and outgoing invoices, interim and final invoices, and contract change orders
• Reconciliation of accounts, open items and project accounts
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (German Commercial Code)
• Accounting and valuation of construction projects, in particular work in progress, advance payments and provisions
• Preparation of VAT returns with consideration of construction services and reverse charge (Section 13b UStG)
• Participation in liquidity planning and project-related cash flow management
• Close cooperation with site management, project controlling and external partners (tax advisors, auditors)
• Preparation and support for annual financial statement audits, tax audits and company audits
• Development and optimization of accounting processes in a project-driven construction environment
