About the role
- Research and identify potential clients based on defined ICP criteria
- Build and maintain accurate lead lists using multiple data sources
- Validate and enrich CRM data (company size, location, decision-makers, contact info)
- Conduct territory mapping and market segmentation
- Perform mystery shopping to understand competitor positioning, pricing, and messaging
- Document insights and share structured findings with Sales and Leadership
- Conduct structured outbound calls to verify company information, identify correct decision-makers and assess basic qualification criteria
- Log call outcomes clearly in the CRM
- Follow approved scripts and compliance guidelines (No pitching, no demos, no appointment scheduling)
- Maintain clean documentation and activity tracking
- Share insights and trends from research and calls
- Continuously suggest improvements to data quality and outreach efficiency
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in Sales operations, lead research, market research, or outbound support
- Strong spoken and written English
- Comfortable making outbound calls (research/verification-focused)
- High attention to detail and data accuracy
- Experience working with CRMs (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Experience supporting US-based sales teams (Nice-to-Haves)
- Familiarity with data scraping tools or lead databases (Apollo, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Background in SaaS, B2B, or outbound sales environments (Nice-to-Haves)
