About the role
- Represent Myriad’s oncology portfolio including hereditary cancer testing, tumor profiling, and companion diagnostics.
- Field-based daily travel within the Arizona South territory to engage healthcare providers, oncology practices, and key stakeholders.
- Identify, develop, and manage commercial relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals.
- Identify and capitalize on commercial opportunities across outpatient practices, institutions, payors, physician groups, and long term care facilities.
- Manage full lifecycle of the product sales process, including new business development and lead generation.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on development of sales and marketing collateral.
- Attend local tradeshows, industry conferences, and networking events.
- Stay current on industry and marketplace trends in personalized medicine.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) preferred.
- 3+ years of sales experience or relevant clinical experience; preferably in biotech, healthcare, medical devices, or pharmaceuticals.
- Must reside in the Territory.

- Excellent presentation, training, coaching, and communication skills (both written and oral).
- Strong interpersonal skills: active listening, coaching, advising, problem-solving, and facilitation.
- Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable engaging customers remotely and in person.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.
- Knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM systems preferred.
- Proficient in Excel preferred.
- Working knowledge of HIPAA laws and patient privacy regulations preferred.
- Flexible, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Valid driver’s license and driving record meeting Myriad’s policy standards.
- Ability to model and live corporate values and professional ethics.
- Field-based role requiring daily travel within the territory to engage healthcare providers.
