Develop and enforce SOPs for facility operations, including preventative maintenance and project intake.
Ensure facilities meet standards and safety codes (DHCS, CMS, OSHA, ADA, Fire Marshal) and remain audit-ready.
Manage vendor contracts and relationships focusing on quality and cost-effectiveness.
Provide high-level oversight and hands-on support to ensure seamless execution.
Lead renovation and construction projects with architects, contractors, and vendors for on-time, on-budget delivery.
Explore AI and innovation opportunities to improve operations and service to members.
Support SCAN’s Vision and Goals and take on additional responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
8+ years of progressive facility operations and management expertise, ideally in healthcare settings such as outpatient clinics, surgery centers, or adult day health centers.
Direct experience developing and managing both operational budgets and multi-year capital (CapEx) budgets.
Expert-level project management skills with a track record of identifying critical paths, anticipating risks, and avoiding cost overruns.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
Passion for serving high-risk seniors and frail older adults.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with proven success influencing and managing relationships across all levels.
Experience creating structure, scalable processes, and best practices in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and oversee facility renovations.
Deep knowledge of healthcare facility codes and safety standards, including ADA, OSHPD 3, DHCS, CMS, and Fire-Life Safety.
Skilled in reading and interpreting construction documents, drawings, and CAD files.
Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar project management and scheduling software.
Residency in the Greater Los Angeles area with flexibility to regularly travel to assigned facilities.
