About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Join our ambitious team as a Dev Ops Engineer supporting the hosting platform for the PayGlobal enterprise payroll solution.
- Play a key role in keeping our production environments stable, efficient, and secure.
- Collaborate with multiple teams, such as Product Management, Delivery Managers, Architects, Developers, and more.
- Implement streamlined build, provisioning, deployment, and monitoring workflows.
- Mentor junior Dev Ops Engineers and engage in 24/7 on-call schedules to maintain flawless operations.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience as a Dev Ops Engineer working within a team, including over 2 years in an agile, large-scale, commercial environment.
- Proven community engagement within the software engineering and development operations sectors.
- Solid experience coordinating continuous integration systems like BuildKite, TeamCity, or similar tools.
- Proficient in Python, PowerShell, C#, and AWS CDK with experience in multi-account pipelines.
- Extensive knowledge of SDLC principles and methodologies, including Agile, Lean, Kanban, and Continuous Delivery.
- Able to harness AI every day to find innovative and efficient ways to deliver objectives.
- Expertise in MS SQL Server, Remote Desktop Services, and Amazon cloud technologies such as S3 storage, CloudWatch monitoring, and CloudFormation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
