About the role

  • Own, evolve and optimise our Salesforce platform to ensure it remains secure, scalable and aligned to business needs.
  • Balance configuration and development, governance and innovation, ensuring Salesforce continues to be a reliable, high-performing system that supports growth across the business.
  • Design and deliver solutions that streamline processes, improve efficiency, and maintain high data integrity - while integrating Salesforce seamlessly with our broader technology ecosystem.
  • Combine deep technical capability with a practical understanding of user needs to help develop efficient workflows.
  • Ensure teams deliver a professional, human, and high-quality experience to every customer.
  • Delivering high-quality configuration and development solutions (Flows, Apex, Lightning Web Components, integrations)
  • Designing and supporting reliable API integrations with connected systems.
  • Maintaining strong data governance standards including permission models, sharing rules and role-based access controls.
  • Proactively identifying optimisation opportunities to enhance productivity and system performance.
  • Identifying and fixing platform issues to minimise business disruption.
  • Designing meaningful dashboards and reports that support business decision-making.
  • Producing documentation, reports and user training to drive adoption and consistency.
  • Partnering closely with interested parties to translate business requirements into scalable, best-practice Salesforce solutions.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience as a Salesforce Developer, Engineer or Administrator in a complex, multi-team environment.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration including objects, flows, validation rules, sharing models, permission sets, and role hierarchies.
  • Development capability in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce APIs.
  • Experience building and maintaining REST and/or SOAP integrations with external systems
  • Proven understanding of Salesforce data architecture, security model and best practice governance guidelines
  • Experience resolving production issues and performing root cause analysis.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes, version control (e.g. Git), and deployment tooling.
  • Experience partnering with Product, Sales and/or Customer Service teams.
  • Exposure to CRM or marketing platforms (e.g. Hubspot) is advantageous but not essential.
