About the role
- Partner closely with business and leadership stakeholders to understand objectives, decision frameworks, and long-term priorities
- Act as a thought partner, helping stakeholders refine questions, challenge low-value requests, and focus on impactful, scalable solutions
- Lead the design and development of robust data products such as standardized dashboards, metric layers, analytical models, and self-service tools
- Define and document core metrics, KPIs, and data definitions to ensure consistency and trust across teams
- Balance short-term business needs with a long-term analytics vision, reducing one-off analyses and technical debt
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve how data is consumed, governed, and operationalized
Requirements
- Strong experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field
- Strong ability to translate business problems into scalable analytical solutions, not just reports
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with both standardized clean datasets and unstructured imperfect raw data
- Experience building and maintaining dashboards, semantic layers and analytical products using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Holistics, Omni, dbt
- Strong data storytelling and communication skills, including presenting trade-offs and recommendations
- Comfort operating in ambiguous environments and pushing back constructively when needed.
