About the role
- Manage day-to-day finance activities, including Accounts Payable (AP)/Accounts Receivable (AR), reconciliations, payments, and cash flow
- Ensure accurate recording of transactions, compliance with internal controls, and support for system improvements (ERP, reporting, automation)
- Execute and monitor recurring finance operations: Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Process payments, manage collections, and oversee operational cash flow
- Ensure correct recording and classification of financial transactions
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures, controls, and deadlines
- Identify inefficiencies and propose improvements to finance processes
- Support the implementation and optimization of financial systems (ERP, reporting, automation tools)
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, suppliers, customers, and external auditors as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in Finance Operations, Accounting Operations, or similar roles
- Strong knowledge of general accounting principles, AP/AR processes, and cash management
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Sage, Primavera, Dynamics)
- Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, Power Query)
- Knowledge of tax and compliance requirements (preferred)
- High attention to detail and accuracy, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong ownership mindset and sense of accountability
- Continuous improvement and efficiency-driven mindset
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Proactive, autonomous, and hands-on approach
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders
- Team-oriented and collaborative
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese and English
