About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provides engineering support and analysis for the integration of large flexible loads into the System.
Reviews interconnection studies for large loads and interfaces with Transmission Service Providers to ensure compliance with company and NERC requirements.
Performs regular and ad-hoc analyses of large load consumption behaviors and their impact on the reliability of the company interconnection.
Develop appropriate tools, displays, policies and procedures to ensure reliable integration of large loads.
Serves as a subject matter expert on large load-related topics to company management and other company teams.
Position is open to an Engineer 1, 2, 3, or Sr., based on experience.

(Required) Ability to communicate effectively
(Required) Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint experience
(Preferred) Experience developing situational awareness tools and/or coding
Requires minimum 1 year job related work experience in excess of degree requirements.
(Required) Ability to communicate effectively
(Required) Ability to read and understand electrical one lines and drawings
(Required) Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint experience
(Preferred) Experience performing and evaluating Powerflow studies in transmission or distribution systems
(Preferred) Experience developing situational awareness tools and/or coding
(Preferred) Experience with Seeq, PI, and/or Jira
Requires a minimum of 3 years’ job-related work experience in excess of degree requirements.
(Required) Ability to communicate effectively
(Required) Ability to read and understand electrical one lines and drawings
