About the role
- Execute accounting entries and ensure the correct classification of accounts and supporting documentation.
- Perform bank reconciliations.
- Perform accounting reconciliations (banks, suppliers, fixed assets, taxes, payroll, among others), operating within the control standards defined by the company’s policies.
- Reconcile billing (accounting vs. tax ledger).
- Assist with the monthly accounting close and internal reporting.
- Support expense analysis to help identify potential variances.
- Participate in internal and external audit processes.
- Update controls and spreadsheets that support accounting routines.
- Assist in organizing documents and digital files.
- Contribute to process improvements and compliance with current regulations.
- Respond annually to IBGE surveys related to PIA Product and PIA Company.
- Prepare files for internal controls validation (Archer system).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (registered with an active CRC) or currently enrolled from the 7th semester onward.
- Experience or knowledge in accounting activities related to the role.
- Preferred: ability to prepare internal management reports, analyze balances and prepare account reconciliations, and to monitor and recognize expenses, including provisions.
- Experience using the SAP system.
