About the role
- Assist in the oversight of all aspects of the Command Center
- Supervise Travel Analysts assigned to different schedules
- Ensure established workflows, policies, procedures and protocols, and fiscal accountability are performed and enforced in Command Center
- Verify and confirm all scheduled trips and reports are executed accurately and in a timely manner
- Confirm information entered in MVM’s proprietary transport system is correct and ensuring all stakeholders are notified of scheduled transports
- Implement and enforce company’s and client’s policies and procedures
- Ensure ongoing compliance with contract and company policies, procedures, and guidance, with applicable laws and regulations
- Maintain consistent communication with field managers and staff, the Customer, subcontractor, and stakeholders
- Receive and review travel requests for accuracy to coordinate travel
- Responsible for creating ground transportation routes and maximizing air travel to accommodate transportation requests
- Review all command center emails and respond to emails in a timely manner
- Ensure requests meet all required contract standards and policies
- Responsible for assigning available staff on trips, ensuring maximization of staff and managing overtime
- Monitor time and attendance and the team’s work output to ensure technical performance and productivity
- Provide technical leadership, support, and guidance to the team; coach team members to ensure sound decisions are made regarding travel coordination
- Identify inappropriate employee behavior and/or performance issues in collaboration with Command Center Managers and address through corrective and/or disciplinary action
- Assist with employee training and collaborate with the Training Department to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (an associate’s degree with two or more years of extra relevant experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree, or more than 4 years of related experience may be substituted for a degree)
- Have at least two years of documented experience in a field related to law, social work, detention, corrections, or similar occupational area
- 1 or more year’s experience supervising employees in a 911 dispatch, command center, call center, or similar program environment
- Strong computer skills in MS Office, including Microsoft Word and Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Requires effective communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with different departments within the company, employees and with clients
- Available to work a flexible schedule.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
