About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support Finance Manager in overseeing accounting and financial reporting for OPEX, inventory, fixed assets, and leasing activities.
- Lead and review the work of onshore and offshore accounting teams to ensure timely month-end closing and accurate reporting.
- Review balance sheet reconciliation, P&L items, variance analysis, and audit schedules for monthly/quarterly/yearly reporting.
- Monitor inventory transactions, perform stock reconciliation, and coordinate periodic inventory counts against SAP/system records.
- Partner with internal stakeholders on new product launches, including UAT, process setup, and SOP updates to ensure accounting readiness.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, support audits, and provide accounting guidance to business stakeholders.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent
- 3 years of audit and accounting experience
- Strong knowledge in IFRS accounting
- Exposure to IFRS 16 and inventory accounting is an added advantage
- Hands-on experience with SAP or other ERP systems
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Proficiency in Power BI, macros, or other data visualisation tools is a plus.
