About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own and drive the day-to-day operations of the Onboarding & Due Diligence function
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of due diligence analysts
- Define and enforce staffing models and workload distribution
- Establish, monitor, and continuously improve service level agreements (SLAs)
- Drive a culture of operational excellence and identify workflow bottlenecks
- Receive and execute compliance frameworks designed by Enterprise Compliance Advisory
- Oversee the execution of risk-based due diligence frameworks for all customer and partner relationship types
- Manage the ongoing periodic review program for fintech partners
- Represent the Onboarding & Due Diligence function during regulatory examinations
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10-12+ years of progressive experience in BSA/AML compliance
- Minimum of 7 years of direct management experience leading compliance operations teams
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in Finance, Business Administration, Law, or a related field preferred
- Deep subject matter expertise in KYC/DD requirements, CIP obligations, and beneficial ownership rules
- Strong working knowledge of applicable laws, rules, and regulations including the Bank Secrecy Act, USA PATRIOT Act
- Experience leading or contributing to regulatory examinations and internal audits
- Proven ability to design and improve compliance operations
- Experience with identity verification technologies and risk management platforms
- CAMS or equivalent professional certification strongly preferred
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
