About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop and enhance REST APIs, primarily using Go
Maintain and improve existing backend services
Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices
Ensure high code quality through static analysis and linting
Develop internal CLI tools and supporting utilities
Work with PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ/Kafka, S3 storage and containerized environments
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes deployments
Collaborate closely with the engineering team to deliver reliable and scalable backend solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 4 years of professional experience in backend/API development
Strong practical experience with Go and building REST APIs
Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ or Kafka, and S3-compatible storage
Solid knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI or GitHub Actions
Good shell/CLI skills
Understanding of Test-Driven Development and software quality best practices
Residence in Germany
Fluent German (C1)
