About the role

  • Reporting to the Professional Risks Underwriting Department, you will analyze and manage third‑party liability risks for construction companies, garage operators and multisector activities.
  • Participate in the analysis of professional liability risks: nature of the activity, business processes, regulatory and contractual environment.
  • Review garage operator files (repair, maintenance, vehicle sales, test drives, storage/guarding, subcontracting, etc.) and other multisector activities.
  • Analyze claims history and the technical information required to assess risk.
  • Contribute to assessing the acceptability of risks and preparing quotations.
  • Apply the company’s underwriting rules regarding coverages, insured limits, deductibles and pricing.
  • Assist in drafting specific policy clauses and verifying the technical compliance of contracts.
  • Manage the technical and administrative aspects of policies (creation, issuance, endorsements, changes, renewals).
  • Update coverages according to the evolution of the insured activities.
  • Contribute to monitoring technical profitability and controlling portfolio risks.
  • Provide first‑line technical support to general agents and sales teams.
  • Participate in handling files that require specific analysis or a technical opinion.

Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in insurance (BTS in Insurance, Bachelor’s or Master’s in Insurance, Law or Risk Management).
  • Prior experience or internship in P&C (IARD) or liability underwriting is a plus.
  • Strong interest in the technical analysis of professional risks.
  • Rigor, analytical mindset and customer‑service orientation.
  • Comfortable working in a team and in a mutual insurance environment.
