Key responsibilities & impact

Define and deliver the Digital Engineering strategy in partnership with senior leadership
Lead innovation in digital workflows, software, and emerging technologies
Own the department's financial performance and contribute to long term business growth
Build strong relationships with key clients and partners
Identify new opportunities and shape compelling solutions and proposals
Lead tendering, negotiation, and pricing strategies
Lead, mentor, and grow a high performing technical team
Drive continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and operational excellence
Support recruitment, development, and talent strategy within the department
Promote best practice digital workflows across the business
Ensure quality, compliance, and safety standards are met and continuously improved
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery across all projects

Requirements

What you’ll need

A strong background in BIM, digital delivery, geospatial, civil engineering, or architecture
Deep technical understanding of digital construction and engineering workflows
Experience leading digital or technical teams and influencing multi‑disciplinary stakeholders
Proven ability to coordinate innovation roadmaps, implement digital workflows, and champion best‑practice standards
Commercial awareness with experience contributing to bids, proposals, or business development
