About the role
- Assist with site investigations, including soil and rock logging to BS5930 standards.
- Supervise drilling and sampling operations.
- Collect and manage geotechnical and geoenvironmental data.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Prepare factual reports and contribute to project documentation.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Conduct groundwater and gas monitoring, sampling, and perform in-situ geotechnical tests in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.
Requirements
- A degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong interest in ground investigation and geotechnical engineering.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to travel and work outdoors in varying conditions across the UK.
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Full rights to work in UK.
